Arya Tsay-Jones

Arya is an experienced KAP therapist, who is avalible for telehealth therapy and integration support.

Arya received her bachelor’s degree in psychological sciences from Rice University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas San Antonio.

Arya has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and more. Arya prioritizes individualizing her approach to care with each client and their unique life circumstances. Arya integrates therapeutic techniques from CBT, ACT, DBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to best meet the support needs of each person she works with. Above all, Arya focuses on creating a space of safety for her clients to process their challenging experiences and emotions. Arya prioritizes meeting each client exactly where they are at without judgment to guide them through their healing journey.  

Arya additionally has experience working in psychological research, investigating the link between mental and physical health among bereaved spouses or caregivers of a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Arya translates her psychology research experience into a focus on evidence-based care that integrates assessment and healing of both the mind and body.

In her free time, Arya enjoys reading, and spending time with her two cats!
