Transcend
Ketamine Assisted Therapy Clinic

We are a team of clinicians who specialize in the treatment of mental health and chronic pain conditions that haven't improved with traditional therapies or medications.

We help those who feel like they have run out of options
and lost hope.

There is another path.

Transcend is one of the few therapy practices
in the nation that fully specializes in

IV Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

For some people,
talk therapy is enough,
or they try medications,
and they just work,
at least, for a while...

But, what about people with trauma so intense,
that talk therapy mostly just hurts?

Or people who can't wait years to feel better?

Or people who try medications and get worse?

If this is you, we hope you consider
a very different option.

Why consider Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

KAP allows unconscious material to arise
and be processed, while dampening the pain.
It quickly brings forth the core issues,
while helping us get out of our own way.

It makes therapy easier, deeper, and
when it's all done, it actually sticks.
It's not magic, it's just science.

KAP produces results that can be felt
in weeks, not years.

At Transcend, we treat patients with
severe, complex, and co-morbid conditions,
as well as those with significant trauma
and personality disorders.

We treat adolescents to seniors.

We treat those who have confused other clinicians,
and have been given up on.

You can trust that you will be
prepared, safe, and supported
the entire way through
this journey back to the real you.

When you are ready. We are here.

What is Ketamine?

Ketamine is actually an old medication,
first discovered in 1962,
that's been administered millions of times.
It is most traditionally used as an anesthetic
and battlefield pain medication.
Studies dating back to 1973 reviled that
when it was given at lower than typical anesthetic doses,
its effects could be used to accelerate psychotherapy.

Unfortunately, this discovery came during the era of the "War on Drugs" and research on psychoactive medications like Ketamine being used for this application was halted for many years. Fortunately, the founders of Transcend don't care about public perception, or what's new. We care about what works! To date, there is a large body of research to show that Ketamine is highly effective at treating mood disorders and augmenting therapy.

Ketamine has many unique chemical properties, one of which is promoting "neuroplasticity" (helping the brain's neurons become more able to grow and change in response to a stimulus). This is why therapy done while Ketamine is administered has more amplified effects than therapy alone.

Ketamine is also known to reduce symptoms of depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, and cravings for alcohol and other substances. It also treats chronic pain conditions that have not responded to
other pain medications.

Ketamine's chemical properties are amazing! It is strange that one molecule can do so much, but ultimately its use as a medication that accelerates and amplifies therapy is the effect we are most focused on at Transcend. Why?

Because, we don't want you to just feel better for a while,
we what you to feel better for the rest of your life.
It is possible for your brain to heal, just like any other wound,
it just might need a little help.

Medicine has its role, and therapy has its role.
But it takes the right medicine, and the right type of therapy,
at the same time to produce the results
we see at Transcend every day.

Results that change and save lives!
